Soil Sample Submission Form
Use this form to submit a sample for testing at the WVU Soil Testing Lab in Morgantown, WV. This form requires Adobe Acrobat Reader, a free computer program to be printed.The analysis for pH, Phosphorous, Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium is free. The only cost is postage to mail the sample. The address is: WVU Soil Testing Laboratory, Agricultural Sciences Building, P.O. Box 6108, Morgantown, WV, 26506-61008.
A recommendation for lime, Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium is provided. Results will be returned to you in two to three weeks.
To create a representative sample of the area of interest, take 10 to 20 individual samples, combine them in one container, mix and let the soil dry. Then pull a subsample from the soil collected and fill a sandwich bag. Mail the sandwich bag and the completed form to the address on the form.
